About The Authors

Jerry Bebout, M.S. Ed., is retired from education and is currently in the real estate business. Jerry has been in the classroom and served as a director of special education services for 30 years. He was on a number of state educational committees and continues his interests in education.

Tammy Sayle, M.S. Ed., is currently serving as director of preschool services and school psychologist. She has formerly served as director of special education services and as a special education classroom teacher in the elementary and middle grades. Tammy served on the state Specific Learning Disability regulation workgroup and has piloted programs in universal design for learning and reading.

Sara Tick, M.S. Ed., is a school psychologist with a background in special education and elementary and high school counseling. She is a licensed, clinical counselor with two national certifications and has served as chair of several committees.
